Impact Art
A reoccurring theme surfacing in the research was the circle. Its repetitive and cyclical form is a constant in the natural world. It is also an expression of the crater, a geological and astronomical feature. The work was displayed at the Reiskrater-Museum in Nordlingen, Germany, a town built in an impact crater. The meteorite impact – from a 1-kilometre-wide (0.62 mi) asteroid – caused the crater c. 15 million years ago.
